A hero in Maya Mythology, whose name was Skaire, was revived after he died. Skaire’s opponent killed him and took out his heart to play as a ball. When Skaire’s heart was thrown into the sky, a dove, which was his friend, rushed in and grabbed it using its beak. Finally, the hole in his pit stomach was filled. That’s why the body vessel and the modern cardiac therapy apparatus were present in my painting. Skaire revived and killed his evil opponent who couldn’t gain the opportunity of reviving. I consider that the ancient public yearns for long-living and reviving. Thus, the revival of Skaire is regarded as the hero’s reward.
